Air New Zealand Tests Powerback Compressor Cleaner With an LM5000 Engine Cleaning

Air New Zealand performs a Borescope Comparison: PowerBack vs. Competitor Cleaner on an LM5000

Air New Zealand’s field service team conducted a side-by-side borescope inspection to compare the performance of PowerBack compressor wash against a competitive cleaner, Conntect, on an LM5000 gas turbine. The results were clear: the engine washed with PowerBack was significantly cleaner than the one washed with Conntect.
Additionally, onsite personnel noted that PowerBack generated noticeably less foam during the process, making it quicker and easier to rinse. This combination of superior cleaning power and operational efficiency highlights PowerBack as the optimal choice for turbine maintenance.
